Nineteen flash cards for the 3 times table, eight to a sheet: 3 × 1 to 3 × 10, each followed by its turnaround (3 × 6 and 6 × 3), so 3 × 3 comes once. Each front shows a fact stacked as in a column; its back shows the product, with the fact printed small in the corner for sorting. Print the pack double-sided and flip on the long edge: each back sheet is laid out mirrored, so every card's back lands behind its front. On a printer that prints one side, choose Fronts only under Print, put the printed sheets back in the paper tray, then choose Backs only. Fronts have a thick frame and backs a thin one, so a card turned the wrong way stands out.
Partners take turns: one holds up a card, the other says the product, and the card is turned over to check. Sort the facts a child knows from the ones that need practice, and come back to the practice pile the next day. Skip counting by 3s out loud first is a good warm-up.
Five minutes a day goes further than an hour once a week. Start with the facts your child knows, then add two or three new ones each day.
