Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, lasts eight nights. Families light one more candle on the menorah each night, play the dreidel game for chocolate gelt and eat foods fried in oil, such as latkes and jelly doughnuts. In 2026 Hanukkah begins on the evening of December 4 and ends on December 12.
Eight Hanukkah coloring pages with no numbers or problems: a menorah, a dreidel, a jelly doughnut, latkes with applesauce, a bag and a bowl of gelt, an oil jug and a pan of latkes, each drawn big with thick lines in a frame. The last page shows the four sides of a dreidel, Nun, Gimel, Hei and Shin, each with its name. Print the pages you want; they are in black and white.
Use the pages for a quiet activity, a party or early finishers. While children color, talk about each picture: what the menorah is for, how the dreidel game is played, what latkes are made of. For practice with numbers, the Hanukkah color by code packs use the same pictures.
Color a page together and talk about the picture. If your family celebrates Hanukkah, hang the finished pages up for the eight nights.
Simple Hanukkah coloring pages with big pictures of a menorah, a dreidel, a jelly doughnut, latkes and applesauce, gelt, an oil jug and a pan of latkes. Children color each picture any way they like, and the last page shows the four sides of a dreidel with their names.
