Each maze is a grid of numbers or facts. From Start, students move up, down, left, or right onto the next space that follows the rule, coloring as they go, until they reach Finish. The wrong turns are close calls, like facts that equal 9 or 11 when the rule is 10, so every space needs checking. Page 1: odd numbers. Page 2: addition facts that equal 12. Page 3: subtraction facts that equal 4. Page 4: multiples of 3. Page 5: multiplication facts less than 20. Page 6: division facts that equal 9.
Great for early finishers and math centers. Choose pages by level: pages 1 to 3 for 1st and 2nd grade, pages 4 to 6 for 3rd grade. The path never runs alongside itself, so there is exactly one way through, and the answer keys shade it.
Have your child say each answer out loud before stepping onto a space. If they get stuck, go back to the last space that fit the rule and check the spaces around it.

Six math mazes. Follow the odd numbers, addition facts that equal 12, multiples of 3, and more from Start to Finish to help a turtle, a bear, an owl, a lion, and other animals. Only one path works. Answer keys included.
