Six pages about changing one unit into another. Page 1 is a conversion chart with pictures: a ruler, a yardstick, and a meter stick for length; measuring cups, pint and quart cartons, a gallon jug, and a liter bottle for capacity; pan balances for weight and mass. Every other page starts with a conversion key, so students practice with the facts in front of them. Page 2 fills in feet, yards, and meters tables and compares lengths with >, <, or =. Page 3 shades the cups and quarts that fill bigger containers, then has tables and comparisons. Page 4 does the same for pounds and ounces, kilograms and grams, with real things to weigh. Page 5 mixes every kind of unit: circle the bigger unit, true or false, and missing numbers. Page 6 has eight word problems.
Hang the chart on the wall or give each student a copy for a folder. Before page 3, pour water from a measuring cup into a pint and a quart container so students see 2 cups fill a pint. Read each key fact as a multiplication: 3 yards is 3 groups of 3 feet, so 9 feet.
Look at labels in the kitchen together: a gallon of milk, a pound of butter, a liter of soda. Ask how many quarts are in the milk jug or how many ounces are in the butter, and check with the chart.

A 6-page conversion pack for 3rd grade. Page 1 is a picture chart to keep: 12 inches = 1 foot, 2 cups = 1 pint, 4 quarts = 1 gallon, 16 ounces = 1 pound, 1000 grams = 1 kilogram, and more. Every practice page starts with the key it needs: fill in tables and compare lengths, shade the cups and quarts that fill bigger containers, change pounds to ounces and kilograms to grams, spot true and false facts, and solve one-step word problems. Every page comes in color and in black and white. Answer keys included.
