Thirty bingo cards, two to a page, each with sixteen numbers from 11 to 50 and no two cards alike. After the cards come calling cards, one for every number from 11 to 50, to cut apart and draw one at a time, and a caller's checklist to tick each number as it is called and check a winning card. Children mark the number called on their card; four in a row across, down or corner to corner wins.
Hand out the cards and counters or crayons. Draw a calling card, say the number and show it, then tick it on the checklist. To call from the board or a projector instead, open the Bingo Caller set to 11 to 50: it picks a number at random, says it out loud and lights it on a board. For more reading practice, say the number without showing it; for less, show it without saying it.
Play with two or three cards and a bag of calling cards. Take turns being the caller, so your child reads the calling cards too.
