Each maze is a grid of numbers or facts. From Start, students move up, down, left, or right onto the next space that follows the rule, coloring as they go, until they reach Finish. The wrong turns are close calls, like facts that equal 11 or 13 when the rule is 12, so every space needs checking. Page 1: odd numbers. Page 2: addition facts that equal 12. Page 3: subtraction facts that equal 8. Page 4: multiples of 5. Page 5: multiplication facts greater than 30. Page 6: division facts that equal 6.
Great for early finishers and math centers in the week before Thanksgiving. Choose pages by level: pages 1 to 3 for 1st and 2nd grade, pages 4 to 6 for 3rd grade. The path never runs alongside itself, so there is exactly one way through, and the answer keys shade it.
Have your child say each answer out loud before stepping onto a space. If they get stuck, go back to the last space that fit the rule and check the spaces around it.

Thanksgiving math mazes where only one path from Start to Finish follows the rule. Students help a hungry turkey reach the pie, the corn and the rolls by following odd numbers, facts that equal 12, multiples of 5 and more.
