Two pages that go over the whole data unit, to do together the day before the test. Its 9 questions are the same kinds as the test's, in the same order, with other numbers and pictures, so nothing on the review is on the test. The last three (a class survey, a pictograph where each picture is 2, and a bar graph that counts by 2s) are for the states that teach them. There is no Score line: it is practice, not a grade. The pre-check and the unit test are packs of their own.
Do the review together the day before the test. Work a question, then let students try the next one on their own, and stop on any that trip up more than a few. Read the questions aloud for students who are still learning to read. The keys name each question's lesson, so a question the class misses points to the lesson to go back to.
Use the review as practice before a test at school. Ask your child to point to the part of the graph that gives each answer, and to say how they found how many more.
