How to Use This Pack

Eight Christmas dot-to-dot pages numbered by skip counting: by 2s to 60 (a stocking) and to 80 (a Santa hat), by 5s to 175 (a bow) and to 200 (a Christmas tree), by 10s to 500 (a reindeer’s face), from 310 to 700 (a sweater) and from 410 to 1,000 (holly), and by 100s to 1,000 (a star). The first dot has a ring round it. Students join the dots in order, which draws most of the picture, then color it. The answer keys show each finished line in blue.

In the Classroom

Count the first few dots aloud together before students work alone: 2, 4, 6 ... Use the pages at a math center, for early finishers or in the days before winter break. The pages from 310 to 700 and from 410 to 1,000 check that students can count by 10s from a number that is not a multiple of 100, and across a hundred.

At Home

Skip count aloud together before starting. If your child gets stuck, say the last number and ask what comes next when counting by that number.

Tips for Success

  • Find the ring: that is where to start
  • Say each number aloud as you draw to it
  • Not sure what comes next? Add 2, 5, 10 or 100 to the last number
  • Draw straight lines with a pencil, then color with crayons
