Fifteen flash cards, six to a sheet, for the fractions children meet most: halves, fourths, fifths, tenths and eighths, each once in simplest form, from 1/10 to 7/8 in order of size. Each front shows a fraction; each back shows the same amount as a decimal and a percent, such as 3/8 = 0.375 = 37.5%. Print the pack double-sided and flip on the long edge: each back sheet is laid out mirrored, so every card's back lands behind its front. On a printer that prints one side, choose Fronts only under Print, put the printed sheets back in the paper tray, then choose Backs only. Fronts have a thick frame and backs a thin one, so a card turned the wrong way stands out.
Show a fraction and ask for its decimal, then its percent. Once those are quick, use the maker to print the decimal or the percent on the front instead. Lay the cards out in order from smallest to largest to see that 1/5 = 0.2 sits between 1/8 and 1/4.
Start with the halves, fourths and tenths, which come up with money and measuring. Add the fifths and eighths once those are easy.

Flash cards for the common fractions and the decimals and percents that equal them, such as 3/4 = 0.75 = 75%. Students say each fraction as a decimal and a percent, then turn the card over to check.
