Thirty bingo cards, one to a page, each with sixteen ten frames showing numbers from 1 to 20. Numbers over 10 have a full ten frame and a second one with the rest, so 14 is 10 and 4 more. The teacher calls a number and children find the ten frame that shows it. After the cards come calling cards for 1 to 20 and a caller's checklist.
Encourage children to see the frames rather than count every dot: a full row is 5, a full frame is 10. To call from the board, open the Bingo Caller set to ten frames to 20.
Play with a card each. When your child marks a frame, ask how they knew without counting one by one.
