Four pictures to color by code. Every space holds a fact: students solve it, find the answer in the color key at the top, and color the space that color. Pages 1 and 2 are multiplication facts: a turkey, then a roast turkey with cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes. Pages 3 and 4 are division facts: a walking turkey, then a sunflower. Factors run from 2 to 10. Most colors have two answers ("16 or 24"), and a space too small for a fact shows it in a column or shows just its answer.
Use the pages for fact practice in the week before Thanksgiving, as morning work, or for early finishers. On the division pages, remind students to think of the multiplication fact: 56 ÷ 7 asks what times 7 is 56. Color the key's circles together before starting.
Quiz each other on a few facts from the page before coloring. If a space turns out the wrong color, solve its fact again together.
