Eight pages on the order of the alphabet, with every letter in a train car. The first two pages are the whole alphabet as a train, capitals and then lowercase, with some cars empty for children to fill in. The next four ask for the letter that comes after, before, in between, and before and after together. The last two give three mixed-up letters to write in ABC order: first letters next to each other, like c, a and b, then letters far apart, with an ABC strip at the top to help. The answer keys fill in every car.
Sing the alphabet song together before the first page, pointing to each car as you sing. For before and after, line up children holding letter cards and ask who comes next. The last page is a first step toward putting words in ABC order.
Say a letter and ask your child what comes next, then what comes before. Sing the alphabet slowly and stop at a letter to check.
ABC order worksheets with every letter riding in a little train car. Children write the missing letters from A to Z, the letter that comes before, after and in between, and put mixed-up letters back in ABC order.
