Five blank clock templates to print as often as you need. Page 1 is one large clock face with the numbers 1 to 12 and every minute mark, and no hands, with a line to write the time. Page 2 has the minute marks only, so students write the numbers 1 to 12 around the clock themselves. Page 3 puts the minutes 00, 05, 10 and so on outside the rim, a help for reading the minute hand. Page 4 has four clocks, each with a digital clock under it, and page 5 has twelve small clocks with a writing line under each.
Call out a time and have students draw the hands on page 1, or slip it into a sheet protector and use a dry-erase marker. Pages 4 and 5 make quick warm-ups: draw a time on one clock and have a partner write it on the digital clock under it. Page 2 is a good check of whether students know where 3, 6, 9 and 12 go.
Ask your child to draw the time you eat dinner, go to bed and wake up on the small clocks, then check them against a real clock in your home.
