How to Use This Pack

Four pages of fall picture patterns. Each row repeats a pattern of leaves, acorns, apples, pumpkins, pinecones, squash, owls, or bears; students find what comes next and circle it. The pages build from AB patterns to AAB and ABB, then ABC, then a mixed review.

In the Classroom

Read a row out loud together in a sing-song voice ("acorn, leaf, acorn, leaf…") so students hear the pattern before they choose. Works well as a fall math center or morning work.

At Home

Have your child touch each picture and name it out loud. When they reach the question mark, ask, "What should come next?" before they look at the choices.

Tips for Success

• Say the pattern out loud to hear the repeat
• Box the part that repeats (like acorn, acorn, leaf)
• Color the pictures after circling the answers
• Challenge: have students make their own pattern with fall items
