Ten coloring pages, one for each number from 11 to 20. In the middle of each page is a big bubble number with a dashed line, numbered start dots and arrows that count on across both digits, so children trace it before they color it in. Its word sits under it in outline letters, and that many animals stand in a ring around the edge of the page: eleven cats, twelve rabbits and on up to twenty butterflies. Children count the animals, color them, then color the number and the word. There is nothing to mark, so the pack has no answer keys.
Trace the number together first. Then show how to count a ring: color the first animal you count, keep going around, and stop when you come back to it. Coloring each animal as it is counted keeps the count honest. Finished pages make a teen numbers book.
Trace the number with your child, then count the animals together, coloring each one as you count it. Ask how many more than ten there are.
