A free telling time song for kids: the hour hand and the minute hand, o’clock and half past. Sing along with the words lit up as they are sung.
Tick -tock, tick -tock,
tick -tick -tock,
what time is it on the clock?
Look at the hands
and take it slow,
what do the hour and minute show?
Hour hand high,
minute hand low,
it's twelve thirty,
don't you know?
Minute hand's pointing at the six,
half past twelve, that's the trick!
Hour hand tells the hour number.
Minute hand counts, let's all remember.
Tick -tock, tick -tock,
take a look,
time is easy once you know the book.
Minute hand up at twelve so tall,
that means o 'clock, that is all.
Hour hand pointing at the two,
two o 'clock, hooray for you!
Minute hand sitting on the six,
thirty minutes, quick, quick, quick!
Hour hand between four and five
High five, High five!
Minute hand at twelve o 'clock,
minute hand at six, half past!
Hour hand tells us the hour.
Tick -tock, tick -tock, hear it chime,
we can read the hands of time.
Hour hand, minute hand, now we see,
clock readers, we will be!
Hour hand, Minute hand, now we see!
Tell us which math idea we should sing about next.
