Two pages that go over the whole unit on measurement, to do together the day before the test. Its 10 questions are the same kinds as the test's, in the same order, with other things and sizes, so nothing on the review is on the test; it asks one more than the test, counting the cups of water that fill a pitcher. Read every question aloud: a small picture beside each question number (a sun, a moon, a car) lets you say "Find the sun. Which one tells how much it holds?" There is no Score line: it is practice, not a grade. The pre-check and the unit test are packs of their own.
Do the review together the day before the test, with a few real things to compare. Read a question, let children answer on their own, and stop on any that trip up more than a few. The review asks for the shorter, the lighter and the one that holds less, where the test asks for the taller, the heavier and the one that holds more: talk about both words. Questions 7 to 10 (putting three things in order by length, measuring with cubes, and counting blocks and cups) are taught in Kindergarten in some states only: skip the ones your class does not learn. The keys name each question's lesson, so a question the class misses points to the lesson to go back to.
Use the review as practice before a test at school. Read each question aloud, then compare real things at home: two spoons, two shoes, a cup and a bowl.

A read-aloud review of the unit on measurement, to go over together the day before the test. Children pick the tool that tells how much a thing holds, circle the shorter, bigger and lighter thing and the one that holds less, put three things in order, measure with cubes and count blocks and cups.
