Two pages that go over the whole unit on money, patterns and the calendar, to do together the day before the test. Its 12 questions are the same kinds as the test's, in the same order, with other coins, pictures and days, so nothing on the review is on the test. Read every question aloud: a small picture beside each question number (a sun, a moon, a car) lets you say "Find the sun. Circle the quarter." Questions about pictures name them in the order they are shown, and each picture has its name under it. There is no Score line: it is practice, not a grade. The pre-check and the unit test are packs of their own.
This unit comes from state standards, so do only the questions your state teaches; they are numbered as on the test. Questions 1 to 3 are coins: naming them (Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas), counting one kind with heads and tails (South Carolina, Texas) and what each is worth (Georgia). Questions 4 and 5 (earning money, needs and wants) are Texas lessons. Questions 6 and 7 (repeating patterns and the part that repeats) are taught in Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Virginia, with Indiana for question 6; question 8 (growing patterns) in Indiana and Oklahoma; question 9 (sharing fairly) in Oklahoma. Questions 10 to 12 are the calendar: days of the week (Indiana, Oklahoma, Virginia), months (Indiana, Virginia) and times of day (Georgia, Indiana, Oklahoma, Virginia). The keys name each question's lesson, so a question the class misses points to the lesson to go back to.
Use the review as practice before a test at school. Sort the coins from a pocket or a jar into pennies, nickels and dimes, look for patterns on clothes and floors, and talk about yesterday, today and tomorrow at breakfast.
